Information for Photographers
As with all major body painting events, you as a photographer, are a very significant part of the World Art Connects 2010. Body paintings are always original and can only be maintained as an artwork by photography.
For photographers the World Art Connects 2010 is a very special, exclusive body painting event. Experience body painting on international world-class level in a fantastic holiday atmosphere, where everything centres on the African continent. Professionally equipped photosets will be prepared for you in the spectacular hotel and provide unique opportunities to photograph the body paintings. In addition to the painted models of the twelve world’s best body painters, there will be two more models presenting themselves to the photographers (one of them painted) on the photosets throughout the day.

Admission for photographers: starts daily at 10.30 a.m.
Body painting & day program: daily, 10.30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Photo-shoots with models of the champions: daily, 6 p.m – 7.30 p.m.
(additionally there will be two models presenting themselves throughout the day in the photosets)
Show presentation & award: daily, 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.

If you live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you have the option to book the World Art Connects 2010 as a package tour - to Gran Canaria – in cooperation with Thomas Cook – incl. flights, transfers, hotel, half board and photo tickets.
Includes:
- 28th April 2010 flight to Las Palmas / Gran Canaria from a departure airport in your area
- Transfer to hotel
- 4 nights including half board in a single or double room
- Photo ticket for the World Art Connects (combined ticket for both days of the event 30th April 2010 and 1st May 2010) including access to the event area and evening show
- Transfer to the airport Las Palmas / Gran Canaria

Please note: The availability of photo tickets for the World Art Connects 2010 is limited! For that reason it cannot be guaranteed that on the respective days of the event, sufficient photo tickets will be still available for all interested photographers.
For photographers, who live in Gran Canaria, we recommend the acquisition of a photo ticket via pre-sale. If photo tickets are still available on the event days, there will be a ticket office open on the 30th April 2010 and the 1st May 2010.
